Fremont County’s newest elected officials each took their oath of office and were sworn into office in front of an overflowing crowd in the County Commissioners Chambers in Lander Monday morning.
Sheriff Ryan Lee, Clerk of District Court Kristi Green, County Commissioner Michael Jones, County Attorney Patrick LeBrun, County Clerk Julie Freese, County Commissioner Travis Becker, County Treasurer Tom Majdic, County Assessor Tara Berg, and County Commissioner Clarence Thomas were all honored, along with Fremont County Coroner Mark Stratmoen who could not attend the ceremony.
Fremont County Judge Norman Young hosted the ceremony. A reception with cake followed.
