Fremont County Sheriff’s and the Riverton Police Department responded to an incident early Thursday morning in which a 19-year-old man died due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Fremont County Undersheriff Ryan Lee told County 10,
A 19-year-old man died as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound early Thursday morning at a home north of Riverton. The incident was witnessed by Deputies who had responded to the residence in search of a juvenile runaway. Deputies were in contact with the man when he suddenly drew a firearm and shot himself.”
The identity of the man has not been released.
