Some Fremont County law enforcement agencies added extra patrol over Super Bowl weekend, looking for drunk drivers in particular.
Between the Lander Police Department, Riverton Police Department, and Fremont County Sheriff’s Office there were 25 total arrests between Friday afternoon and Sunday night.
6 of the 25 arrests were for driving under the influence, evenly split between LPD and RPD with 3 each. Additionally, there were 2 public intoxication arrests and 1 for open container.
