(Fremont County, WY) – Local prep soccer teams are off to a good start in the 2026 season.
Both Lander Valley High School’s boys and girls squads rank third in class 3A’s WyoPreps.com Coaches & Media rankings this week. Both Tiger teams started their season’s 1-0 with wins over Rawlins.
Cody and Powell’s ladies rank 1 and 2 and Cody and Buffalo’s boys rank 1 and 2.
In class 4A, the Riverton ladies are 2-0 and rank third overall. The Lady Wolverines notched impressive wins over Rock Springs and Green River in week one of competition. Kelly Walsh ranks #1 and Jackson is #2
Meanwhile, the 4A boys are led by Jackson. The Broncs were nearly a unanimous #1, but Thunder Basin and Green River picked up one first place vote a piece.
