(Casper, WY) – Fremont County will be well represented at this year’s Shrine Bowl All-Star football game in Casper.
The 53rd game takes place Saturday, June 13th at Cheney Alumni Field and pits the senior all-stars from the northern half of the state versus the southern half of the state.
Coaching the North team this year is Riverton’s Mark Lenhardt. Lenhardt is no stranger to this game, but he flip-flops his allegiance as he had coached previously for the South team while at Torrington High School.
Three Wolverine players join his roster, Kayden Liebrecht, Paxton Yeates and Clay Sheets. The trio of RHS athletes will join forces with three Lander Tigers. Kaleb Hamilton, Gavin Romer and Cody West all had outstanding seasons for Jim Burton’s squad and will conclude their high school careers with the all-star contest.
Just off the playing surface, but equally as important, Riverton High School will bring three trainers to the game. Certified Athletic Trainer Paige Phalen and student trainers Taylor Anderson and Aspen Gordon will assure the safety and health of the North team.
Mountain View High School Head Coach Brent Walk will coach the South team.
