Please join the City of Lander and Fremont County on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 9 AM at the Lander Volunteer Fire Department for a 9/11 Ceremony and Recognition.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. The ceremony will allow our community to come together to remember and honor the innocent lives lost, recognize the courage and sacrifice of first responders and others who answered the call to help, and reflect on the resilience and unity shown in the days and months that followed.
We invite community members to join us as we remember those who lost their lives, honor those who served and sacrificed, and recognize the lasting significance of September 11.
