(Riverton, WY) – Fremont County Cornhole is hosting a medical fundraiser for the Morataya family. 2-year-old Tulio and 3-year-old Leta have been undergoing treatment in Colorado, and the family has to make multiple trips down there for several days at a time for each child.
The fundraiser tournament is happening at the Riverton Elks Lodge on Saturday, Aug. 31, at noon. Full details on the flyer below!

Here’s the story of this family:
“Tulio was born six weeks early. The doctor did a scan right before the c-section, noticed his kidney wasn’t functioning properly, so they see him every few months to scan and see if it is self repairing before in hopes to avoid surgery. He was also born with a heart murmur.
Leta and Tulio have had staring spells since they were a few months old and are now being seen by a neurologist to figure out what they are & what’s causing them. Currently, they are running MRI/EEG to rule out the possibility of seizures as the cause of the spells. The neurology team will meet with us again in September to go over all results and figure out the next steps in their care plan.”
