“Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.”
(Lander, WY) – A community spaghetti fundraiser will take place Saturday, May 16, at the Rock Church in Lander (150 Baldwin Creek Road) for Lander man Sam Anderson. Anderson sustained injuries, along with his son, Jackson, after the two were hit by a drunk driver in 2025.
The road to recovery is still taking place, and most recently, Anderson underwent surgery for a corpectomy back in April. Additionally, Anderson is the sole provider for his family and will be off work for more than two months as he recovers and heals. He leads Celebrate Recovery, where he helps “those with hurts, habits, or hang-ups,” organizers shared.
“As a mentor and a role model, he inspires young men in our community with his faith, encouragement, and hope. Come support this amazing man who has made a difference to so many. Help him get back on his feet while he heals. Every plate makes a difference!”
Doors open at 5:00 PM, and dinner will be served from 5:30-730 PM. Plates will cost $10. There will also be a silent auction.
