“Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.”
(Lander, WY) – A concert benefitting the Lander Care and Share Food Bank and local little free pantries will take place this weekend, Sunday, November 16, in the Inn at Lander’s Pinnacle Room.
The show will go from 6 to 9 PM, featuring local music acts Nightfire, Tom Brady, and The Tinderwoods. In addition to the music, there will be free food (soup and bread) and a raffle.
“It’s really cool because we’ve put the whole thing together by donation, which means there’s no overhead and every single penny raised goes directly to the Lander Care and Share Food Bank,” organizer Sarah Reilley shared. “Nonperishable food donations will be spread throughout Fremont County.”
“We also aren’t charging for dinner, just gathering to feed our neighbors. We hope to see lots of donations, but an inability to donate doesn’t mean a person (or family) can’t attend. Everyone is welcome!”
