(Riverton, WY) – The City of Riverton has shared that the Wyoming Honor Farm is generously donating cut firewood to help individuals and families in our community stay warm this winter. This resource is intended to support those in need and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Firewood will be delivered to the parking lot of the Honeycutt Softball & Saban Baseball Complex, located off Smith Road.
The Honor Farm and City officials kindly ask residents to be courteous and mindful of others when accessing the firewood, remembering that this donation is meant to benefit as many community members as possible.
Associate Warden Tate Thompson highlighted the importance of the Honor Farm’s work program, noting that the crews took pride in knowing their efforts would directly support community members with limited resources during the colder months.
