(Ethete, WY) – Wyoming Indian senior Anessa White has signed a National Letter of Intent for track and field at Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas.
White will throw for the Fighting Indians.
She qualified for state in the shot and discus the last two track seasons, finishing seventh in the Class 2-A shot put this spring.
White is a versatile athlete.
She was a two-time Southwest 2-A all-conference volleyball player and a starter or early substitute for the Class 2-A third-place Lady Chiefs at the state tournament last spring.
She was named to the Lakota Invitational Basketball Tournament all-stars last season.
Anessa is the daughter of Alan White and Lauren Bell.
