Anna Marie Reed of Lander, WY passed away unexpectedly at her home Monday, March 25th, 2019 at the age of 89 years old.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 30th, 2019; 2:00 PM at Hudson’s Funeral Home, 680 Mount Hope Drive, Lander, Wyoming.
Anna was born January 18th, 1930 in Flint, Michigan to Anna Marguerite (Heritier) and Theodore Ernest Rugenstein.
She grew up on a farm in Linwood, MI. While her older brothers were off to war in Europe, she worked the dairy farm with her dad.
On June 9th, 1946 she married Kenneth B. Reed. They started a family in Saginaw, MI where they raised 11 children. In 1982 they moved to Lander, WY where she has resided ever since.
She was selfless, constantly serving others. She loved the Lord and family was everything, especially the grand-children. She was an amazing woman who will be dearly missed.
Anna is survived by one sister, Pauline “Sis” Rugenstein of Bay City, MI; her children, Mike Reed of Hardin, MT, Darwin “Buck” (Teresa) Reed of Pulaski, TN, Elaine (Norm) Snider, of Midland, MI, Mary Jo (Steve) VanBocxlaer of Shields, MI, Jeff (Candy) Reed of St. Louis, MI, Greg (Colleen) Reed of Hemlock, MI and Dave (Debbie) Reed, Ken Reed, Gary (Cindy) Reed, Matt (Jennifer) Reed all of Lander, WY. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and a growing number of great grandchildren as well as great – great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by, her beloved husband Kenneth “Bud” Reed, her son Terry Reed, grandson Terry (TJ) Reed Jr., great-grandson Joseph Babosh, her parents and numerous brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces.
