(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners convened for a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 21, and have provided the following recap of the meeting.
- A Memorandum of Understanding with the United States Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Rock Springs Field Office was approved for the Preparation of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for the Rock Springs Resource Management Plan (RMP) Amendment Environmental Assessment.
- A 24-hour liquor license permission request to the Town of Dubois was approved for the National Museum of Military Vehicles, DBA The Canteen, for the 4th of July, 2026.
- A letter of resignation from the Information System Support (ISS) Supervisor was accepted tentatively effective May 29, 2026.
- The Fremont County Health Plan, to include Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming, VOYA / Reliastar, Optum, WorkPartners, and MDLive, was approved effective July 1, 2026.
- A Professional Service Agreement with Schneider Geospatial for a web-based digital map and GIS with a one-time startup cost of $6,650.00 and an annual fee of $13,740.00 was approved.
