(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners convened for a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 22, and have provided the following recap of the proceedings.
- The commissioners approved a 24-hour catering permit for 1838 Rendezvous Association for the Mountain Man Rendezvous scheduled for July 1, 2025 through July 6, 2025.
- A Sage Civil Engineering merger with J-U-B Engineers, Inc. was approved in conjunction with the existing agreement for the Riverview Road project.
- The commissioners accepted the Move Committee recommendation to allow Countryside Veterinary Service to change the request to purchase a mobile vet box with a 4×4 truck instead of a traditional veterinary van.
- The annual operating plan for fire protection was approved.
- Mountain Meadows Subdivision was approved—a four-lot simple subdivision located within the Warm Springs Mountain Subdivision and the Warm Springs Mountain Subdivision Second Filing, just off Union Pass Road west of Dubois, commonly known as Tract B or “The Meadows.”
- The commissioners accepted the low bid from Bituminous Paving in the amount of $1,059,925.22 for chip sealing on Lyons Valley, Country Acres, Paradise Valley, and Riverview Cutoff Roads, with funding through the Road Construction Fund.
