Alijah Lujan was nominated as the Arapaho Charter High School student of the week by ACHS Staff.
Alijah Lujan is the Arapaho Charter High School Student of the Week!
Shanna and Roberto Hanway are the guardians of Alijah, who is in his sophomore year at ACHS. He is a stellar student in the classroom and activites at school, and this is the 2nd year in a row that he has been recognized for this honor. "Alijah is always willing to help other students, constistently turns in excellent work, and has continued his leadership at ACHS as a part of our Warrior Council," writes a nominating teacher. He is the Vice President of the Council, stays active in all school events and activities, and participates on the basketball and track teams as well.
When not involved in the goings-on at ACHS, Alijah enjoys skateboarding any chance he gets to do it. He also loves hanging out at home and helping out there wherever he can. He wanted to include a special thank you here to Roberto and Shanna for taking him in and providing him a great home environment. After graduating from high school Alijah has as his ultimate goal to attend the Massachussetts Institute of Technology and become an engineer. We have no doubt that he will make this dream a reality. Excellent work, Alijah, we're proud of you!
