Auree Blackburn is Arapaho Charter High School's Student of the Week!
Auree, a senior at ACHS and the daughter of Pat and Brenda Hubbard, is rounding out her high school career with a flourish. Her grades and attendance are excellent, and she is enhancing her academic achievements by taking English 1010 at CWC this spring in addition to her high school courses. "Auree always has a positive attitude," writes one nominating teacher. "She is going to college classes and working hard, showing dedication to her education. She brings good energy to the school, and she is a good role model for her friends and peers." Another echoes those accolades in saying "Auree is a great student to have in class. She makes sure her work is done well and is always willing to help others." Her charming smile and humble demeanor are positive qualities that endear her to peers and staff members alike! When she is not in school, Auree holds a part time job on the weekends and enjoys working. She also loves to spend time at the lake and going fishing. After graduation in May, she is interested in pursuing training and a career in the field of Cosmetology. Congratulations, Auree, on this well-deserved honor!
