Cimmiron Hanway was nominated as the Arapaho Charter High School student of the week by ACHS Staff.
Arapaho Charter High School is proud to honor Cimmiron Hanway as our Student of the Week!
Cimmi, as she is affectionately known, is a sophomore at ACHS and the daugher of Shanna and Roberto Hanway. She is a rock start in all aspects of student life. "Cimmi is an excellent student," writes one nominating staff member. "She has a great attendance record, and she participates in everything. She is a setter for the volleyball team and is the Reporter for the Student Council and just created our first Warrior Council Newsletter. She has a great personality and is always willing to help." She is well-respected by peers and teachers alike, and always strives for excellence in the classroom. At the time of this writing she sports straight As in all of her classes, with no percentage lower than 95. Rock star, indeed!
As mentioned, Cimmi is a vital part of the ACHS Volleyball team and a member of the Warrior Council – ACHS's student government. Additionally, she plans to run track in the spring and is considering managing for the basketball teams when those seasons begin in late November. When she's not studying or participating in an extra-curricular activity Cimmi enjoys playing with and feeding her chickens and watching the Netflix series Orange is the new Black. After graduating from high school she is currently considering an education and career as a Pharmacist, and, of course, always hanging out with those chickens. Keep up the excellence, Cimmi!
