Danaisha Brown is the Arapaho Charter High School Student of the Week!
Danaisha comes to ACHS as a senior and has made an immediate and positive impact on our school. She was elected as Warrior Council President by the student body, and is an active participant in every function and activity the school offers. "Danaisha is a hardworking student, both in and out of the classroom," writes a nominating teacher. "In the classroom, she is diligent about getting work done, adds to class discussion, and invites others to work with her. Outside of the classroom, she has been willing to jump in with concessions, event planning, and whatever else needs to get done. She was voted our Warrior Council president and has been very active in that role." Indeed, Danaisha earned straight As for the first quarter, and her leadership of Council events is top notch!
Daniasha plans to participate on the girls basketball team this winter, and is excited to add athletics to all of her other areas of school involvement. When she's not at school or participating in an event she enjoys riding horses, hunting and fishing, being outdoors, baking, and spending time with loved ones. After graduation next May she has plans to attend cosmetology school at CWC, and then fruther her education with dental hygiene school at Sheridan College. Congratulations, Danaisha – we are so glad to have you at ACHS!!
