Daryl Wallowing Bull is the Arapaho Charter High School Student of the Week!
Daryl, the grandson of Lionel Bell and son of Tessa Bell, is a senior at ACHS who will be graduating from next month. He has really stepped up his game as a student in his final year of high school, and it has not gone unnoticed. "Daryl is a conscientious, dedicated, and respectful student," writes one nominating teacher. "His work is always complete and he contributes to class discussions." Indeed, he's been on ACHS honor rolls each quarter of this year, and his attendance has been excellent. He shows no signs of easing up as he prepares for high school graduation a month from now. Daryl also played on the ACHS Boo’eihiiho’ (Warriors) basketball team this year, is active with the district’s Food Distribution program, and drums with the drum group for Friday Cultural Celebrations each week. When he’s not in school Daryl enjoys hunting, playing basketball and drumming each chance he gets as a way to celebrate Hinono’ei (Arapaho) culture. After he graduates next month Daryl is planning to enroll in college and pursue a degree in Engineering. Great job, Daryl, ACHS is proud of you!
