Arapaho Charter High School's Student of the Week is David Black, Jr.!
David, the son of David Black, Sr. and Michelle Littleshield, is a senior at ACHS and with be graduating as a part of the largest class ever for the school on May 20th. Though he's only been with us this school year, David has made a positive and lasting impact on the school. His grades and attendance have been excellent all year and his kind and respectful demeanor is appreciated by all. A nominating teacher states "David is respectful and dedicated to his studies. His smile and laughter are contagious, and he is a pleasure to have in class." Another staff member says "David has been a great addition to our school and displays a maturity beyond his years. His respect and motivation are a positive example to his peers." He has stayed active at ACHS, and was a vital member of the ACHS Warriors basketball team this past season. He involves himself with the District's Food Distribution program and is always willing to lend a helping hand. When he's not in school David enjoys playing basketball, playing video games, and fishing either in the canyon or at Washakie Reservoir. After graduation he plans to join the workforce and eventually become a mechanic. Congratulations, David – ACHS is proud of you!
