Devin Wallowingbull was nominated as the Arapaho Charter High School student of the week by ACHS Staff.
Arapaho Charter High School honors Devin Wallowingbull as our Student of the Week!
Devin is a junior at ACHS, and is the son of Clayton Wallowingbull Sr. and Ashley Norse. He is a very kind and polite young man who is respected by staff and peers alike. "Devin is always on top of his school work and rarely misses school. He is a pleasure to have in class and always has a kind smile for those around him," writes one nominating teacher. Another says "Devin is such a joy to have in class. He works hard on his assignments and treats those around him with respect and kindness. We love seeing him drumming every Friday, too!" Indeed, Devin joins the drum group at Friday Cultural Celebration and sings with the other members. This is the second time in his high school career that he is being honored as Student of the Week, and he has also been recognized as a most-improved learner in his Hinono'eitiit (Arapaho Language) class. Devin loves playing basketball, and has played on the ACHS team the past two years and will be a part of the team this year as well. Outside of school he enjoys playing video games and being with his family. His post-high school plans are to attend Wind River Job Corps after graduating and obtain his welding certification.
