Arapaho Charter High School honors Esperanza SittingEagle as a second Student of the Week this week!
Esperanza, or Espii as she is known by teachers, friends, and family – is one of two ACHS students who will be graduating when the semester ends on December 20th. She is a regular fixture on the school’s Honor Rolls, and is recognized as a conscientious and accomplished student. In her time at ACHS she has been active in Bring Change to Mind, Food Distribution, and playing on the Boo’eiseino’ (Lady Warriors) basketball team. With a ready smile and soft-spoken demeanor, she is well-respected by staff and peers alike. “Espii is a fun student to have in class” writes a nominating staff member. “She is up for a challenge and is motivated to get things done. Espii’s bubbly personality is contagious for those around her.” Indeed, she has proven herself to be an positive roll model for her peers.
Outside of school Espii loves playing volleyball, going to the park, and playing video games. She has a keen interest in both business and cosmetology, and after taking some time to work and save money she plans to attend college for both. She one days hopes to own her own beauty salon. A promising future surely awaits! A job well done, Espii!!
