Marlito Duran was nominated as the Arapaho Charter High School student of the week by ACHS Staff.
The ACHS Student of the Week is Marlito Duran!
Marlito, the son of William Spoonhunter and Tracy Brown, is in his sophomore year at ACHS and maintaining a solid 3.0 grade-point-average through 3 semesters. A nominating teacher writes "Marlito has good attendance and keeps up with his work. His work is usually in good order and he has a good G.P.A. with a 94% in my class. He also gets along well with his peers. He also has a great sense of humor." Another states that "Marlito is kind, polite and respectful of others. He works hard in the classroom and stays on top of his assignments." He also stays active at school in various events, including the district's Food Distribution prgram, and participates on the ACHS Track & Field team. When he's not in school, Marlito enjoys taking walks and hiking, playing video games, and helping clean up around the house. When he gradates from high school in the near future he is planning to either attend college or join the military. ACHS is prouid of you, Marlito – keep up the great work you're doing!
