Shawn'J Monroe is the Arapaho Charter High School Student of the Week!
Shawn'J, a freshman at ACHS, and the son of Stven Monroe, Jr. and Claudia Jenkins. He has made an immediate positive impact on the school since starting his high school career last August. His fun-loving and jovial personality is contagious, and he is always ready with a winning smile and a positive word of encouragement. His grades are excellent, and he recorded a 1st semester GPA of 3.625. "Shawn'J is a joy to have in class!" writes one nominating teacher. "He is animated and adds to every class discussion. He is a dedicated student and tries his best on assignments. Shawn'J encourages other students to do their best." Another states "Shawn'J is an eager and enthusiastic student who is always ready to add to a class discussion. He is also very diligent in getting his work done and doing it well."
Shawn'J is active in school activities and is presently playing baskball as a member of the ACHS Boo'eihiiho" (Warriors) basketball team. He also plans to participate in track & field this spring. When he's not in school he loves playing basketball, listening to music -JN3AL NEW BENZ is his go to – and gaming. After graduation a few short years down the road he is planning fto attend college and possibly play basketball for his chosen institution. Well done, Shawn'J – keep up the amazing work!
