The 43rd Annual Arts in Action Day in the Park will take place on Saturday, July 12 on the lawn at Riverton City Park.
This Fremont County tradition features local artists and crafters, community organizations and nonprofits, food, and live entertainment. The arts, crafts, and community organization fair, typically featuring around 80 exhibitors, will be open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Entertainment will include tethered balloon rides (sponsored by the Riverton Balloon Rendezvous) in the morning as weather permits and performances by dancers from Motion Bliss Academy and Main Street Dance.
A variety of food and beverage vendors will be on site for the day. This event is free to attend for all members of the public.
Day in the Park is produced by Arts an Action, a non-profit organization dedicated to arts and arts education in the Riverton area. Arts in Action produces three annual events in Riverton: Day in the Park, the Winter Art Fair, and Missoula Children’s Theatre. The organization hosts additional events throughout the year.
In 2024 and 2025, these events included a local artist recital, a performance by BYU’s Living Legends Dance Ensemble, and a concert and master class for local students by the Seraph Brass Quintet.

Arts in Action is a non-profit Arts Council made up of art enthusiasts as well as artists and professionals who volunteer their time and wish to develop and promote the arts in the community and create a strong culture in Fremont County.
