(Riverton, WY) – The Central Wyoming College Collegiate Chorale and Handbell Choir performed their fall concert at the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Tuesday Evening.
Three groups, all under the direction of Dr. Jeremy Cochran entertained the audience with handbells, solos and chorale numbers.
The performance opened with the handbell choir of Liam Adams, Samuel Bush, Williams Bush, Debbie Graham, Denise Stacey, Joe Trumble and Isaac White playing “The Quest,” and a three-part arrangement of “Twelve Bells Americana.”
William Bush sang a pair of solos accompanied by Austen Fowles on piano. Bush performed “Bright is the Ring of Words” and “Bois Epais,” a piece from 1685 in Latin.
The Collegiate and Master Chorale finished the performance with six songs, “Yonder Comes Day,” “You Are the New Day,” ”Music of Life,” “Black Riders Came from the Sea,” ”Traveler’s Hymn,” and “Since I Laid My Burden Down.”
