A Teton County avalanche has killed a 29-year-old snowmobiler according to Buckrail.
The Teton County Coroner’s office identified the individual as Cody Christopherson, a Wisconsin resident.
The avalanche took place near Mt. Leidy, south of Moran, in an area with about 9,500 feet of elevation.
Others who were snowmobiling with Christopherson were able to dig the man out from the snow, but he did not survive.
Another avalanche was recorded in the same area April 2018, killing a 24-year-old man.
