The League of Women Voters of Fremont County is dedicated to empowering voters through education and providing factual non-partisan information. Leading up to this year’s Primary Election on August 20, 2204, they’re working hard to ensure voters are armed with as much knowledge as possible when they head to the polls. The League is hosting a series of candidate forums to help voters learn more about the candidates running for local office as well as publishing Voter Guides in both English and Spanish.
Upcoming Forums
- House Districts 54 and 55: Tuesday, July 23, 6:00 p.m. at the Carnegie Room Lander Library. Lloyd Larsen and Ember Oakley will be attending; Tina Clifford is unavailable and Joel Guggenmos declined.
- Lander City Council Ward 1: Thursday, August 15th, 6:00 p.m. at the Carnegie Room Lander Library. Featuring candidates Dan Hahn, Jenny Young, and Kirk Schmidt
