Beth Marie Kamminga (Clark), 63 of Billings, MT lost a battle she fought most of her adult life with the diseases of alcoholism and depression on Sunday, February 17, 2019.
Beth was born to Hugh Claud Clark and Irene Francis (Malinowski) Clark on February 28, 1955, in Virginia, Minnesota. Beth was the third child, joining her older sisters Cheryl and Laurie. The family moved to Lander, WY in 1962. Beth attended school in Lander until graduating from Lander Valley High School in 1973. Following high school, Beth attended University of Colorado, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. In 1974, Beth welcomed her first child, Heather. In 1983, Beth married her husband David, and together they had 3 children, Channing, Forrest, and Paige.
Beth had a very creative spirit, was an avid gardener, enjoyed traveling to Central America with David, and most of all spending time with her grandkids.
During her very successful 40-year career in healthcare she formed several relationships and touched the lives of all her patients.
Beth is survived by her husband of 35 years, David of Billings, MT. Children; Heather Schurr of Whitefish, MT; Channing (Bryan) Spradling of Sheridan, WY and their children Vinnie, Bryanna, and Ellie; Forrest (Karen) Kamminga of Lander, WY and their children Necha, Stasja, and Taiden; one great- grand child, Elliot (Necha); Paige (Dylan Smith) Kamminga of Dickinson, ND and their son Vance; and James Walker of Independence Rock, WY whom Beth adopted as her own. Siblings; Cheryl (Bill) Bartlett of Lander, WY; Laurie Lowe of Oak Creek, CO; Mark (Michelle Schuman) Clark of Palmer, AK; Brian (Jill) Clark of Lander, WY and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by: Both her parents, her grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held in the late spring or early summer in Lander, WY
