Wind River hosted the major volleyball tournament in Class 2-A in the state so far this season with two courts in the high school gym and one at the middle school in Pavillion.
The format was to guarantee teams two games in 90 minutes, with the remainder of the time set aside for junior varsity matches.
Ft. Washakie entered the varsity division for the first time and Arapahoe Charter fielded a junior varsity team. After Shoshoni played two games against the Eagle varsity, the Lady Wrangler JV played a match with the Lady Warriors from Arapahoe.

Other county teams in competition were Dubois, Wyoming Indian and host Wind River.

Saratoga, Big Piney, Greybull and Rocky Mountain made the trip from the Western 1-A and 2-A divisions and Tongue River traveled over the mountain to represent the Class 2-A East.
