Just before 9:30 a.m. multiple fire crews were dispatched to Shipton Lane in Fort Washakie for a report of an electrical fire and a power pole issue.
Upon arrival, crews determined there was no immediate fire threat, but that a transformer had blown.
Power company officials and fire crews remain on scene, please use caution in the area.
Electricity may be impacted for some Fort Washakie-area residents. There is no estimated time on repair currently.
