(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commission will hold a regular meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, in the County Commissioners’ Chambers in Room 205 of the Fremont County Courthouse, 450 N. Second St. in Lander.
The tentative agenda, which is subject to change at any time, includes a speed declaration report from Transportation Superintendent Billy Meeks, a budget hearing, and a public comment and transparency policy and procedure discussion with Chris Rodkey.
The Commission will also discuss salary and compensation adjustments with Sheriff Ryan Lee.
After a break, the Commission will conduct the following board interviews:
- Kay Watson – Museum Board
- Josh McNeary – Recreation Commission
- Ron Cunningham – Recreation Commission
- Steve Palmer – Planning Commission
The Commission will also discuss health insurance, retirement, and salaries and compensation for employees before breaking for lunch.
The Commission will also conduct the following budget hearings:
- Treasurer
- CAST/JTC/Youth Services
- County Treasurer – Investment Pool, Capital Revolving, Abandoned Vehicle, Health Benefits
- Wellness and Safety Coordinator
- Commission/Ambulance
Tuesday’s meeting is open to the public for in-person attendance and will be streamed live on Fremont County’s YouTube channel, where past meeting recordings are stored.
