(Fremont County, WY) – The 3A/4A State Basketball Tournament in Casper this week will be represented by a trio of Fremont County teams.
The Riverton boys finished second at the 4A West Regional, falling to Star Valley in a 45-44 heartbreaker Saturday. Lander’s girls fell in the 3A West regional championship game to Lyman 47-40. And, the Lander boys won the regional third place gaem over Mountain View Saturday, 50-41.
Round on match-ups for the Fremont County teams include;
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 10:
10:30 a.m. Lander girls Vs. Newcastle (Casper College)
1:30 p.m. Lander boys Vs. Douglas (Casper College)
*Winning teams play again in Wednesday’s semi-finals. Losing teams fall into consolation play Thursday.
FRIDAY, MARCH 12:
1:30 p.m. Riverton boys Vs. Sheridan (Casper College)
*Winning teams play in the semi-finals again Friday evening. Losing teams fall into Saturday consolation.
