Around noon on Friday, April 5th a structure fire was reported in the 500 block of East Park Avenue in Riverton.
Riverton firefighters, Riverton Police Department, and Fremont County Sheriff’s officers along with EMS responded to the blaze.
While details are still limited, initial indications were that a small garage behind a residence on E. Park caught fire. There were no injuries and firefighters were able to control the blaze soon after arrival.
Traffic in the area remains blocked as of 1:00 p.m. Friday.
Moments after the blaze was reported, some Riverton fire units were called to assist a 2-vehicle accident involving a “tanker-truck” near Kinnear on US 26.
