(Rock Springs, WY) – Due to relief in conditions, the Bureau of Land Management High Desert District Office rescinded stage 1 fire restrictions on BLM public lands in Teton, Sublette, Lincoln, Uinta, Sweetwater, Carbon, Albany, Fremont, and Laramie counties, effective September 17, 2025.
The High Desert District Office Fire Prevention Order BLM-WY-D00000-2025-01 is now terminated. BLM asks that the public and visitors to public lands remain alert for changes in fire activity and always practice outdoor fire safety.
