(Casper, WY) – A new online survey suggests that Casper, Wyoming is one of the best places in the country to retire.
WalletHub tallied data from hundreds of large and medium sized communities across the country. Casper ranked 10th overall, and received the number one ranking when it comes to affordability for retirees.
Casper did less well in categories regarding activities and quality of life, but did still manage to place in the top 75 nationally in most of them.
Orlando, Florida took the top spot overall followed by Scottsdale, Arizona and Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Cheyenne, Wyoming also represented the Cowboy State, coming in 32nd on the list of best spots to retire. The affordability theme continued with Cheyenne being recognized as the third most affordable place in the U.S.
