The Dubois Chamber of Commerce invites you to three days of festivities to celebrate America’s birthday!
July 3: Kick Off the Celebration with a Street Dance!
Unwind and enjoy the summer celebration on Wednesday, July 3rd, at a lively street dance on East Ramshorn and 1st Street from 6 to 8:30 p.m. You can groove to the energetic tunes spun by DJ Wells. Feeling peckish? Don’t worry, 3 Spear Rations, Hangry’s Food Truck, and the Fluffy Cow will be there to satisfy your craving for a delicious summer treat!
4th of July: A Day Packed with Family Fun and Patriotic Spirit!
It’s a star-spangled 4th of July celebration starting bright and early at 8 a.m. with a pancake breakfast in Dubois Town Park, hosted by the Dubois Chamber of Commerce. Then the kids activities starts at 10:30 a.m. with Kids Games (courtesy of the Dubois Kiwanis Club), Coin Dig (courtesy Peak Excavation) and Duck Races (benefiting the National Wild Turkey Federation.
At 2 p.m. sharp, the much-anticipated Dubois Town 4th of July Parade rolls into action! Grab your flags and find a spot along the parade route, which starts at the Town Park and proceeds east on Ramshorn Street. If you’re early, you can participate in pre-parade games starting at 1:30 p.m.
Please note that Highway 26 is closed for the parade and it’s the only route through town for travelers. Highway 26 will be closed on July 4th from approximately 1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Through-traffic should plan for delays in getting through Dubois.
After the parade, cool down and enjoy a delightful Ice Cream Social from 3 to 5 p.m., graciously hosted by St. Thomas Episcopal Church. As dusk settles, prepare to be dazzled by a breathtaking fireworks display that will illuminate the night sky. (And don’t forget the Dubois Friday Night Rodeo starts at 7:30 p.m. at Clarence Allison Memorial Arena!)
July 5th: A Star-Spangled Poker Run!
Time to ride for the third annual Independence Day SxS Poker Run! Spend Saturday unwinding on the road and then enjoy live music from Kalyn Beasley, the 2023 winner of Wyoming Arts Council’s Performing Art Fellowship.
Registration starts at 9 a.m. at Grubbin’ (120 W. Ramshorn Street), with scorecards available for $20 cash. You can purchase as many scorecards as you like between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
First card draw is at Antelope Hills Golf Course
Second card draw is at the Geyser Creek Trail Connection (Sponsored by Peak Excavation)
Third card draw is at Union Pass Rentals
Fourth card draw is at Green Creek Safety Shelter (Sponsored by Sell Now Property Services)
Fifth card draw is at Lava Mountain Lodge
The party ends at Crooked Creek Guest Ranch (76 Fir Road) with card trading from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. There will be food and a cash bar available starting at 5:00 p.m. Winners will be announced at 7:00 p.m. Kalyn Beasley’s performance starts at 7:30 p.m.
Door prize winners will be announced throughout the evening.
