Nurses are at the heart of healthcare, providing vital support to patients and their families every single day. Whether they’re assisting in procedures, managing patient care, answering questions, or offering comfort in times of uncertainty, our nurses go above and beyond. Their tireless work ensures our community receives high-quality, compassionate care close to home.
The tradition of recognizing nurses began in 1982, when President Ronald Reagan officially proclaimed May 6 as National Recognition Day for Nurses. Since then, the celebration has grown into a week-long tribute to the dedication and impact of the nursing profession.
