History will be made Saturday afternoon as both the men’s and women’s soccer teams from Central Wyoming College host the first regional tournament games ever held by the Rustlers. The men’s team hosts the Golden Eagles of Laramie County Community College at 1 pm.
The Central men finished the season with a record six wins.
They edged Laramie County in Cheyenne two weeks ago 1-0 on a goal by Leonidas Papanikolaou.
The women are 8-5 overall and 7-3 in conference play. They will host the Trappers of Northwest Community College in Powell.
Central beat the Trappers in Park County in late September 2-1 on goals by Bailey Brown and Jersee Clapier.
