(Riverton, WY) – If you’re a fan of Christmas Carols, the Robert Peck Auditorium was the place to be Tuesday evening for Central Wyoming College’s annual Festival of Carols.
The CWC brass ensemble, handbells and choir were led by Dr. Jeremy Cochran in an hour-long concert that featured many traditional and more modern Christmas favorites.
A crowd of approximately 400 people nearly filled the lower section of the auditorium.
The program featured a flute solo by Bridgette Plumb in the traditional carol, ‘Lo How a Rose E’er Blooming’ and a violin solo by Bethany Kieser to the classic ‘Away in a Manager.’ Susan Tucker accompanied the soloists on piano.
The audience sang along in ‘Oh Come All Yea Faithful,’ ‘Hark the Herald Angels Sing,’ ‘Silent Night’ and finished the program with ‘Angels We Have Heard on High.’
