New career platform gives students access to jobs, internships, employers, career events and resources
Central Wyoming College is pleased to announce the launch of Handshake, a career platform designed to connect students with employers, jobs and internships, career events and resources that support their professional development.
Through Handshake, CWC students can explore career opportunities, connect with employers, register for career fairs and events, and access resources from Career Services — all in one convenient platform.
What Students Can Do on Handshake
Students can use Handshake to:
- Search for jobs and internships
- Discover employers and organizations
- Receive personalized career and opportunity recommendations
- Register for career fairs, workshops and other events
- Connect with employers recruiting students and recent graduates
- Access career resources and services available through CWC
- Build a profile highlighting their education, skills, interests and experience
The addition of Handshake supports CWC’s commitment to student success and strengthens connections between the college and employers. By bringing students, career opportunities and employers together in one platform, Handshake can help students take the next step from education into the workforce.
How to Get Started
Current students and employers interested in using Handshake can contact Troy Archuleta for information on creating a profile and getting started.
Students are encouraged to complete their Handshake profile, add their career interests and begin exploring available jobs, internships, employers and upcoming events.
Employers can use Handshake to connect with CWC students and graduates and share employment and internship opportunities.
