This Spring Bands Showcase will feature the College Band and the Time’s a Wastin’ Jazz Ensemble, presenting a dynamic and wide-ranging program. Audiences can expect music spanning from classical composer Gustav Holst to pop icon Michael Jackson, highlighting the versatility and talent of CWC student musicians.
The evening will also include a special guest appearance by Five String Fling, a newly formed local band started by a Central Wyoming College music alum, adding a unique community connection to the performance.
The concert is under the direction of Jeremy Cochran, CWC Music Director, whose leadership continues to provide meaningful performance opportunities for students.
“This concert is a celebration of everything our students have accomplished this year,” said Cochran. “From classical to jazz to contemporary music, it really showcases their versatility and the energy they bring to every performance. We’re especially excited to collaborate with local musicians and alumni to make this a truly special finale.”
The event is free and open to the public, and attendees of all ages are encouraged to attend.
