The Robert A. Peck Gallery at Central Wyoming College presents Persona, a contemporary portrait exhibition that reflects the college’s thriving art program and its dedication to artistic excellence, technical exploration, and creative inquiry.
Featuring portraits of people and animals rendered in a wide range of media, Persona highlights artwork that moves beyond surface representation to explore identity, personality, and presence. The exhibition mirrors the diversity of disciplines taught at CWC, including photography, painting, ceramics, drawing, metal casting, and art glass – demonstrating the breadth and vitality of the college’s visual arts curriculum.
The public is invited to attend the Meet the Artists Reception and Awards Ceremony on Friday, January 23, 2026, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Robert A. Peck Gallery. This special event celebrates the artists and the creative community fostered by CWC, offering guests an opportunity to engage directly with the work and the people behind it.
The evening will feature refreshments catered by Kai Espresso, with a cash bar hosted by Livestock Liquors. During the reception, $1,000 in prize money will be awarded in recognition of outstanding work in the exhibition.
Through exhibitions like Persona, Central Wyoming College continues to connect academic learning with professional artistic practice, providing students and the community with meaningful access to contemporary art and creative dialogue. Many of the works on display are available for purchase.
