(Cheyenne, WY) – The Cheyenne Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person responsible for stealing a white cargo trailer that contained dozens of valuable military memorabilia items.
A gold passenger vehicle is seen on security camera footage arriving at the Cheyenne VFW Post 1881 on East 7th Street Friday. The vehicle then backs up to the trailer and tows it away.
The stolen trailer contained several military medals, including Purple Hearts and a Medal of Honor. Also stolen were several military plaques, flags, uniforms and other personal items belonging to United States Veterans.
If you recognize or see the vehicle in question, please contact the Cheyenne Police Department and ask for Detective Hedum at 307-633-6643.
