(Fremont County, WY) – Both Wyoming Indian High School varsity teams went start to finish ranked in the top five of the 2A WyoPreps.com Coaches & Media basketball polls this season.
In the final vote of the year, the WIHS boys were in the #2 spot behind only Thermopolis. Big Horn, Pine Bluffs and Wright were also ranked in 2A. The Wyoming Indian girls finished ranked #3 behind Sundance and Big Horn. Tongue River and Thermopolis also concluded the year in the top five.
For classes 3A and 4A, this week’s rankings were the “second-to-last.” Lander’s girls remain rated second behind Cody. Pinedale, Wheatland and Powell area also ranked. The Tiger boys jumped a spot up to #4. Lovell is on top of 3A boys favorites.
The four boys and girls teams are Fremont County’s only ranked squads again this week.
