Chiefs State XC Runner-up – Lady Chiefs Fourth

The Class 2-A runner-up Wyoming Indian Chiefs - h/t Aleta Moss

The Wyoming Indian boys saved the best for last, running an outstanding team race to finish as Class 2-A Runner-up at the Little America Golf Course in Cheyenne. The Chiefs were paced by two top 10 finishers who earned all-state honors in the process. Kaiden Moss was eighth and Colton SunRhodes 10th to pace the Chiefs.

Burlington has a talented team paced by state champion Kellen Winters. The Huskies scored 25 points to 45 by the Chiefs.  

Wind River finished in seventh place for the boys.

The Lady Chiefs trophied as well with a fourth-place finish.

Marysa Trumbull led the girls’ effort with a 13th-place finish.
