The City of Lander announces the conclusion of the special winter water allowance, which was implemented to help prevent frozen pipes during the colder months. Residents are advised that these allowances will end on Thursday, April 24, 2025, as frost levels have receded to depths where pipes are no longer at risk of freezing.
Starting Friday, April 25, 2025, and aligning with the new water and sewer billing cycle, the City will resume standard billing practices. Residential customers with a 5/8″ meter will return to the regular base rate, which includes 4,000 gallons of water usage.
