The City of Lander is pleased to announce the availability of WaterScope, an online customer portal that allows residents to view detailed information about their water use now that new meters have been installed throughout the community.
Water customers now have the option to create a free WaterScope account to access daily water usage data and a variety of monitoring tools. Features include leak notifications, irrigation reports, and usage tracking, designed to help customers better understand and manage their water consumption. Creating an account is optional, but many users find the additional insight helpful for identifying leaks and improving water efficiency.
Customers who choose to enroll can visit www.waterscope.us and click “Register” to set up a new account. Customers will need their VN ID (meter number) and their City of Lander account number. For convenience, meter numbers will be printed on February water bills. Customers may also locate the meter number directly on their water meter. If needed, City Hall staff can provide both the meter number and account number by calling 332-2870 x110.
Water usage data displayed in the WaterScope dashboard will begin on the date the account is created. Customers who would like historical usage data added to their dashboard may also contact City Hall at 332-2870 x110.
The City encourages residents to explore WaterScope as a convenient tool to stay informed about their water use and support responsible water management in the community.
Although temperatures have been cold this weekend, residents are not advised to run water continuously at this time. The City is actively monitoring frost depths and will keep the community informed through a press release if conditions change and continuous running water is recommended.
