The City of Lander invites the public to a Project Information Open House on Wednesday, August 7, from 3-6 PM at the Lander Community and Convention Center. This event is an excellent opportunity to learn about various projects happening in Lander.
City Staff and project representatives will be available to answer questions and provide detailed information on upcoming projects, including:
- Zoning code updates
- The 2024 master plan
- 1% street projects and infrastructure improvements
- LIFT – ½% economic development tax
- 2024-2025 construction projects
- Flood mitigation efforts
Attendees can meet with representatives from several departments and organizations, including the Building Department, Lander Police Department, Lander Volunteer Fire Department, Energy & Environment Task Force, Fremont County Emergency Management, Wyoming Pathways, and WRTA. Rocky Mountain Power will also be present to discuss savings and solutions for customers. Those interested in joining the fire department are especially encouraged to attend.
While there will not be a formal presentation during the open house, attendees are encouraged to ask questions and engage in one-on-one discussions with staff and project representatives. Informational materials will be available for public viewing.
