We’re proud to recognize Davette Mock from the Bus Barn in Lander for her incredible compassion, dedication, and impact on the students she serves.
Nominated by Randy D, with additional praise from Louise Barker, Davette is described as “an all-around amazing woman” who goes above and beyond for the kids on her route. Randy shares:
“She helps her bus students with anything and everything they need. If they need shoes—she gets them. If they need Christmas—she finds a way. She even dressed up as the Grinch just to make them smile. When a family lost their house, she helped raise money. If kids run away, she helps find them. She’s always there to lend an ear or help solve a problem, and she’s always cautious and caring when driving kids to and from school.”
